Samuel Molinaro Jr.
Samuel L. Molinaro, Jr. is the Chief Financial Officer (since 1996) and Chief Operating Officer (since 2007) of Bear Stearns.
Molinaro was named chief operating officer in August 2007, shortly after two of the bank's highly-leveraged hedge funds imploded due to huge ill-advised bets on subprime mortgages. He has delivered lousy news to investors ever since.
His own losses are estimated at $20.6 million.
