Sean Healy Sean Healy is a Greedy Bastard Off With Sean Healy's Head

Sean N. Healy, 38, has been charged with a total of 55 counts of wire fraud, mail fraud, money laundering and obstruction of justice.

How did he spend his stolen earnings?

  • $2.4 million waterfront mansion furnished with more than $2 million of home improvements (The estate once belonged to former NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar)
  • $1.5 million in men’s and women’s jewelry
  • numerous exotic vehicles and sport cars, including a Bentley and several Ferraris, several Lamborghinis (including a pink one for her), Porsches, a limo and even a Hummer golf cart combined worth more than $2.3 million
  • leased 2,500 square feet of garage space to store the vehicles
  • $500,000 home theatre

Healy and his former Hooters-girl wife, Shalese Rania Healy, apparently were not interested in investing.

"A lot of the times when someone's doing a Ponzi scheme, they actually do some investment. Here, none of the money was invested," said Melanie Damian, a court-appointed receiver in charge of looking after all that loot. [NYDaily News]
